OpinionBar has grown to such a large community that it is almost impossible for new members to choose a username that they can easily remember. Since email addresses are much easier to remember, and unique, we have decided to require an email address and password from now on.
We've been working hard to improve the OpinionBar website by making it better, more user friendly, and more attractive. Although the main features of the site still work in the same way that they used to, we have implemented some new features to improve our service to you. Here are a few of the features we have added or changed:
With hundreds of thousands of OpinionBar members, you can imagine there is a scarcity of usernames. To make sure you don’t have to use Linda12345 you can now login with the email address you are registered with.
With the new site, we enable you to maximize your chances of getting invited for the most appropriate surveys. Your "profile completeness" shows how much background details you have provided, which helps us to invite you to the right surveys. Participation in profiler surveys does not have a direct reward, but will bring you more invitations for special surveys (which often have higher rewards).
Do you have questions about OpinionBar or are you experiencing difficulties with our surveys? Then you can consult our help desk. Check if your problem is already listed in our list of frequently asked questions, and if not, please ask your question through the form. This will enable us to help you more efficiently.
We can now process your payments more efficiently. The payments overview shows you which requests are pending, paid, or failed.
With our brand new servers, the OpinionBar website is much faster than before.
No passwords will be sent to your email address in future. if you have lost your password, just tell us which email address you used to register with opinionbar and we will send you a special link, which can be used to choose a new password.
Invitations are now sent out both in text and in HTML, which will look nicer and mean that, you will receive fewer error messages, and logging in to start a survey will be much easier. If you cannot receive HTML email, do not worry. You will automatically receive our text only version.
